Testimony wine Dusseldorf October 2008:
On the last weekend in October 2008 I was on the wine Dusseldorf. Such wine fairs I can recommend to anyone. There you can easily learn all regions and countries, without having to go anywhere. There I also know a lot of interesting new wineries and wines learned and would like to tell you about it. I present only some of the wineries before, otherwise the review too long.
estate Heinisch, Austria:
I am a big fan of Austrian wines, particularly of green Veltliner. So I headed there directly. And I was not disappointed. I have a fresh, crisp green Veltliner name tasted wine district heath 2007th This has me very much. A typical fresh, peppery, crunchy Veltliner. There was also a wine district Neugerg 2007, which was very long on the Yeast. This was much softer, supple, rare. Very good wine, but I like the green Veltliner prefer green and crisp. Furthermore, I tried a blue
Portuguese with much skepticism, I found not many blue Portuguese were also good. But this has convinced me. Very soft and harmonious, and very full-bodied.
The highlight however was the green Veltliner The sparkling wine can only be found very rarely and has tasted so good that I'm going to get something in any case.
concluded the winemaker and has offered me a sweetheart. A very special red wine, which I read not escape me. Roeseler 2007 was an unusual and very good red wine, something very special! Strong prunes aroma and long finish.
estate house Thiel, Rheinhessen:
I was made aware of my partner on this estate. I was at the Day already had very positive experiences with rheinhessischem wine and have found my passion for it.
He said that the red wine I have to try, and I was very surprised because it was a lovely Dornfelder. And we may not have actually both sweet thorn fields. But I try everything, I just want to learn over and was curious. And the wine I was blown away, absolutely fantastic wine that tasted like a port wine. Simply great, I was thrilled. After that, I naturally wanted to try the other wines of the estate. I tried a cuvee of Pinot Noir and Dark Fields, which was very good and very unusual, but totally convincing.
The White took me a Morio-Muskat Spätlese lieblich total einfangen und begeistert.
Weingut Heinz Schneider, Mosel:
Since I live on the Moselle and not many good red wines have found from the Mosel, I was naturally curious about the red wines of Mr. Schneider, who were promoted with prices, and before there was a large crowd stood.
I tasted my way through the reds and was thoroughly impressed and will visit the winery Schneider, in any case. The wines have an expression and a character that I've rarely seen even on the Mosel. I was hooked. Each slate situation tasted one out there. An absolute must if you drive to the Moselle.
Winzerkeller Stetten, Franken: I really wanted to
Absolut lecker and make the sherry and port wine orderly competition. Of that I'm going to get even more! Something very rare and special from Germany and that should not be missed! So try again, if you're in the franc wines. You will be thrilled.
were the wineries that have impressed me the most, it was making but many other good wineries, the top wines, but there is simply too long if I list all these here. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and animated sometimes to visit a wine fair.
Regards
Esther
